Backend Developer

  • Experience: 6+ years tech (minimum 2 years Rust)
  • Salary: $150,000-$250,000 USD annually
  • Work Week: 6 days (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
  • What you'll be doing:
  • Build low-latency trading systems for frictionless buying/selling of any asset across any chain
  • Integrate AI for workflow automation and intelligent system optimization
  • Design and implement high-performance backend infrastructure in Rust
  • Own architectural decisions for critical trading and exchange systems
  • Collaborate with a lean team of 15 across global time zones (Brazil to Singapore)
  • Ship fast and iterate on production systems with significant user impact
  • What we look for in you:
  • Minimum 6 years of technical experience with at least 2 years using Rust
  • Product-focused mindset - you actively build cool products, not just credentials
  • Proficiency in AI integration and modern development practices
  • Experience with low-latency systems and high-performance backend architecture
  • Very fluent English communication skills
  • Output-driven work ethic with ownership mentality
  • Nice to haves:
  • Previous experience at crypto exchanges or trading platforms
  • Contributions to open-source Rust projects
  • Experience scaling distributed systems
  • Background in financial systems or blockchain technology
