Robotic Programmer (Industrial Robots) (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Robotic Programmer who doesn’t just “configure” systems, but wants to design and launch robotic automation solutions — from idea and simulation all the way to commissioning.

Work format: On-site at our office in Ansfelden, Austria (preferred). Remote is also possible with business trips as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Programming and commissioning industrial robots (e.g., KUKA WorkVisualABB RobotStudio) for various manufacturing applications;
  • Creating, adapting, and optimizing robot programs for process automation;
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in robotic systems;
  • Commissioning and maintaining robotic cells together with the engineering team;
  • Technical project planning: concept → simulation → implementation → go-live;
  • Integrating robots into existing production lines/systems and working with control systems;
  • Collaborating closely with software/automation teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements:

  • Technical education in automation engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field;
  • Hands-on experience programming and commissioning industrial robots (KUKA, ABB, or similar);
  • Simulation experience (important);
  • Ability to design and develop programs from scratch (not only maintain existing ones);
  • Experience with testing, commissioning, and fault analysis of robotic systems;
  • Understanding of technical project planning in an automation environment;
  • Independent and structured working style, strong ownership mindset, result-oriented approach;
  • Willingness to travel (approx. ~20%, depending on location and project needs).

Nice to have:

  • PLC programming experience;
  • Experience with vision systems, especially for pick-and-placemachine tending, and similar applications;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical planning for robotic systems.

We offer:

  • Hands-on projects with real manufacturing use cases and modern technologies;
  • A team where work goes from concept to launch, not just support;
  • Flexible setup: office (Ansfelden) or remote with on-site visits as needed.
