Middle/Senior .NET Developer

We are Anyforsoft, an outsourcing IT company that has been helping clients from Europe and US build scalable systems in domains such as EdTech, eCommerce, media and more for over 10 years.

We are looking for a Strong Middle .NET Developer with solid experience in building scalable web applications and APIs using the Microsoft technology stack for part-time cooperation (50% FTE), with the prospect of extending the engagement to full-time.

The role involves backend development, database design and optimization, integration with cloud services (Azure), and collaboration within a cross-functional team.

What You Will Do:
 

• Design and develop backend services using .NET (Core / .NET 6+)
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
• Work with MS SQL Server: schema design, indexing, query optimization
• Participate in system architecture discussions (monolithic and microservices)
• Integrate with Azure cloud services
• Write unit and integration tests
• Review code and maintain coding standards
• Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
• Debug and optimize performance issues
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps

What We Expect:
 

Core .NET:

• 3–5 years of commercial experience in .NET development
• Strong experience with C#
• .NET Core / .NET 6+ development
• ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC)
• Dependency Injection
• Middleware pipeline understanding
• Entity Framework Core (or Dapper)

Architecture:

• Understanding of monolithic and microservice architectures
• REST API design principles
• SOLID principles
• Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture (basic understanding)
• Basic knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Database:

• Strong experience with MS SQL Server
• Database schema design
• Indexing strategies
• Query optimization
• Writing complex SQL queries
• Performance troubleshooting

Cloud & DevOps:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Azure App Services
• Azure SQL
• Azure Storage
• Azure Functions (optional but desirable)
• Basic CI/CD understanding (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Docker (basic level)

CMS (Optional but Strong Advantage):

• Experience with Umbraco CMS
• Custom components and integrations in Umbraco

Testing & Quality:

• Unit testing (xUnit / NUnit / MSTest)
• Understanding of integration testing
• Familiarity with mocking frameworks

Tools & Workflow:

• Git
• Azure DevOps / Jira
• Swagger / OpenAPI
• Postman
   

Language Proficiency:

• English: B1+ level

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Responsibility for delivered results
• Ability to estimate tasks realistically

• Understanding of the business impact of technical decisions
