Middle Manual QA Engineer to $1700

About the role
We are looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our product team and ensure the quality of a web-based online casino platform.
This role is for a specialist who takes ownership of product quality, participates in test planning, and performs deep analysis of complex issues, including integrations and backend logic.

Requirements

Experience

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA
• Experience in full-cycle testing of web applications
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum
• Experience working in product teams

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of testing theory and test design techniques
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• API testing experience (REST, HTTP/HTTPS, Postman, Swagger)
• Confident use of Chrome DevTools
• Experience with Jira and test management systems (Zephyr Scale, TestRail, or similar)
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience analyzing logs and working with monitoring tools (Grafana or similar)

Languages

• English — B2+ (documentation and bug reporting)

Responsibilities

Testing

• Planning and execution of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Testing payment integrations (card processing, crypto, bank transfers)
• Deep testing of REST APIs and backend logic
• Multi-region testing (UK, Netherlands, Germany, France)
• Cross-browser and responsive testing
• Testing integrations with external services and payment providers

Analysis and Troubleshooting

• Log analysis and API interaction analysis
• Investigation and reproduction of complex and unstable issues

Documentation and Process

• Creating and maintaining test documentation in Zephyr Scale
• Building and updating regression test suites
• Reporting testing status and quality metrics in Jira
• Participation in sprint planning and task estimation
• Requirements analysis and early risk identification

Quality Improvement

• Release quality control before deployment
• Proposing improvements to QA processes and efficiency

Team collaboration

• Close collaboration with developers, analysts, and product managers
• Participation in technical discussions

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming or Gambling (1+ year)
• Understanding of payment systems and financial transactions
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, ELK)
• Basic knowledge of web application security testing
• Experience with database tools (DBeaver or similar)
• Active use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) for test case generation, SQL queries, log analysis, and documentation
