Senior Backend Engineer (Java) – FinTech / Banking Domain

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a FinTech project in the banking domain. This is a long-term project running until the end of the year, with a planned start within 2–3 weeks.
 

🔎 About the Role

We are not looking for a “ticket-closing” developer. We need a proactive professional with strong ownership and personal attitude toward the product — someone who:

• Supports analysis and contributes to architectural discussions
• Proactively proposes improvements and new solutions
• Builds synergies between different functional and technical areas
• Takes responsibility beyond just implementation
   

The main focus is Backend development, but experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a strong plus.

• Java (11/17/21)

• AWS (including S3 concepts – key knowledge)
• Jenkins / Git
• RabbitMQ
• Python (nice to have)
• JavaScript

  Requirements
• 5+ years of commercial experience
• Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot
• Experience working with AWS
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design
• Upper-Intermediate+ English (strong communication skills required)
• Experience in FinTech / Banking domain is a plus
