English Proofreader

We are looking for a detail-oriented English Proofreader to review and refine documents translated by AI. The role focuses on ensuring linguistic accuracy, clarity, consistency, and professional tone before final delivery. 

Responsibilities: 

- Proofread and edit AI-translated documents in English 

- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax 

- Improve clarity, flow, and readability 

- Ensure consistency in terminology and formatting 

- Adjust tone to match professional / legal / corporate standards (depending on document type) 

- Flag unclear, inaccurate, or contextually incorrect translations 

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents 

Requirements: 

- Excellent written English (native or near-native level) 

- Strong grammar and editing skills 

- High attention to detail 

- Ability to work with structured documents (Word, PDF, Google Docs) 

- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple documents 

Nice to Have: 

- Experience proofreading legal, financial, or corporate documents 

- Experience working with AI-translated content 

- Background in translation, linguistics, or English studies 

- Familiarity with terminology consistency tools
