Required: 
For our client (German multinational energy enterprise) we are looking for a strong Backend-Developer with expertise in .NET

Project Overview:
German multinational energy enterprise

Requirements (Must-have):
- .NET (intermediate to advanced level)
- C#
- Azure DevOps
- REST APIs

Responsibilities:
• Design, creation and maintenance of .NET/ .NET Core backend services
• Development of RESTful APIs and integrations to connect renewable energy data, SCADA inputs, IoT platforms and operating systems. (SCADA not a must here)
• Implementation of business logic for energy generation workflows, event handling, alarms, availability KPIs and operational analyses.
• Working with Azure Cloud Services (Azure Functions, App Services, Queues, Service Bus, Storage, Azure SQL).
• Ensuring code quality through automated testing (xUnit/NUnit, integration and API testing).
• Optimising system performance, reliability and security.
• Working closely with front-end engineers, data engineers, product owners and OT/SCADA teams.
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (builds, releases, infrastructure as code).

Nice to Have:
• In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Experience with REST APIs, WebAPI, gRPC (optional)
• Confident working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Entity Framework Core or comparable ORMs
• Experience with Azure Cloud (Functions, App Services, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Storage)
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Unit & integration testing (xUnit, NUnit, Moq)
• Understanding of distributed systems, clean architecture, SOLID principles
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum
