Salesforce DevOps Engineer(Copado)

On behalf of our Client from the UK, Mobilunity is looking for a Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Copado to automate and streamline software delivery

• Establish and enforce release governance policies, including audit trails, compliance controls,and permission frameworks

• Architect and implement Git-based version control and branching strategies across multiple Salesforce environments

• Lead deployment-related technical discussions and mentor teams on Copado best practices and operating standards

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance pipeline performance to ensure secure, reliable releases at scale

• Design and extend Copado capabilities using functions, job templates, and custom extensions aligned with program needs

• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for deployment processes, branching strategies, and Copado configurations

• Explore and implement new Copado features, integrations, and AI-powered capabilities to drive continuous improvement

• Partner with product, engineering, and QA stakeholders to ensure smooth planning, coordination, and successful releases

Requirements:

• Experienced professional with 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or release

engineering within Salesforce ecosystems

• Experienced in Copado with deep hands-on knowledge across CI/CD and DevOps (❗️)automation

• Confident in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in Copado for secure and reliable delivery at scale

• Skilled in establishing release governance, including audit trails, compliance controls, and user permission frameworks

• Proficient with Git-based version control, branching models, and multi-environment release strategies for Salesforce programs

• Strong in Salesforce development lifecycle, metadata management, and platform architecture• Grounded in DevOps best practices across continuous integration, continuous delivery, and repeatable deployments

• Able to act as a technical point of contact for deployment and release issues and drive resolution across teams

• Comfortable mentoring and enabling developers on Copado standards, patterns, and best practices

• Strong in monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving pipeline performance, security, and reliability

• Able to design and extend Copado capabilities using functions, job templates, and custom extensions

• Experienced with Azure Cloud in the context of DevOps delivery and enterprise environments

• Clear and structured in documentation for deployment processes, branching strategies, and Copado configuration

• Collaborative with product managers, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders in fast-moving release cycles

• Analytical and practical in problem-solving for complex release and deployment challenges

• Effective in communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
