Middle Engagement Specialist to $1700
The Engagement Manager drives presales by participating in client discovery calls, structuring technical and commercial proposals, and ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities. This role acts as a managing point for Sales, Delivery, and technical teams, contributing to successful deal closure and smooth project kickoff. This position is suitable for a middle-level professional with experience in IT services or software development presales who is ready to take ownership of presales activities under guidance.
Requirements:
β 1.5-3 years of experience in presales, project coordination, consulting, or IT services roles.
β Understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
β Experience working with client-facing documents (proposals, estimates, presentations).
β Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
β Ability to structure requirements, identify risks, and think in terms of scope and value.
β Strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability.
Responsibilities:
1. Presales & Client Interaction
β Drive presales activities including discovery calls, requirement clarification, and solution discussions.
β Lead preparation of proposals, estimates, and client sales presentations.
β Assist in defining project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.
2. Internal Coordination
β Manage and coordinate Sales, Engineering and Delivery teams during presales
β Collect and structure technical input into clear, client-ready materials.
β Ensure alignment between proposed scope, timelines, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
3. Process & Documentation
β Maintain presales documentation, templates, and knowledge base.
β Follow established presales workflows and quality standards.
4. Communication
β Ensure clear, structured, and professional communication with clients.
β Support timely follow-ups and clarifications during decision-making phases.
β Maintain high quality and consistency of presales deliverables.
