QA Automation Lead (C# + Selenium)

Impressit is looking for a QA Automation Lead to take ownership of end-to-end testing delivery for a complex Salesforce-based portfolio within the energy and trading domain.
This role combines hands-on automation expertise with team and portfolio leadership in a high-visibility, long-term program.

Important: Must be located in Spain / Portugal.

What do we expect?

— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
— 12+ years of experience in QA, including significant experience as a QA Lead
— Strong hands-on expertise in C# + Selenium with BDD (SpecFlow)
— Experience with API automation and Selenium Grid
— Proven ability to define and apply test metrics and quality measurements
— Strong understanding of Agile testing practices and test automation accelerators
— Experience managing and mentoring QA teams (10–12 people)
— Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
— Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
— Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

What will you do?

— Own end-to-end testing delivery across multiple programs and demands
— Manage QA staffing, onboarding, goals, appraisals, and development plans
— Lead automation strategy and execution for medium to large-scale programs
— Work closely with Architects, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to ensure testability
— Design, evolve, and govern automation frameworks
— Drive CI/CD enablement and continuous testing practices
— Review functional and technical designs and provide quality feedback
— Mentor junior team members and document QA best practices
— Develop proofs of concept for new QA automation tools and approaches
— Define and drive the QA roadmap in collaboration with Portfolio and IT managers
