QA Lead (Automation)

We are looking for a QA Lead (Automation) who will be responsible for advancing quality engineering practices across our platform.

In this role, you will define how quality is built into the product from the ground up, develop modern automation capabilities, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps/SRE to ensure reliability, scalability, and release confidence.

You will leverage strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript to create sustainable test infrastructure and embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to faster delivery, improved stability, and greater customer trust.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and evolve the overall quality engineering strategy
• Build and scale automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and E2E layers
• Establish effective CI/CD validation and release readiness processes
• Promote shift-left practices and improve system testability
• Increase coverage, signal quality, and execution reliability
• Lead defect analysis, identify systemic issues, and drive long-term improvements
• Own test environments, test data, and supporting tooling
• Identify opportunities for optimization and lead initiatives end-to-end
• Mentor engineers and elevate quality standards across teams
• Act as a trusted technical partner for developers and product leaders
   

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7+ years of experience in test automation / quality engineering
• Strong professional experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on architecture and design
• Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Experience with load and stress testing tools (e.g., Artillery or similar)
• Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-driven systems with non-deterministic behavior
