Middle QA Engineer

Dotcode is looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to become a key contributor to our QA processes and work on an exciting product in active development. As a Middle QA Engineer, you will take ownership of test activities, proactively improve testing approaches, and closely collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality and reliability.

Required skills:

● 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications;
● Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC;
● Proven experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports);
● Experience in bug triage: reproducing, analyzing, prioritizing, and clearly documenting defects;
● Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities within a sprint;
● Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify root causes of issues;
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams;
● Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken).

Would be a plus:

● Experience with SQL for data validation;
● Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman);
● Knowledge of test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.);
● Basic understanding of automation testing processes or experience with tools like Cypress;
● Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
