Trainee Test Automation (Python) Engineer

Description

Our Client is the leader of the US Broadcasting Market and one of the biggest companies on that is providing Broadcasting Media Entertainment to users on OTT.

Project scope implies automating of the UI Tools and APIs. 

Requirements

• Basic test automation experience
• Basic experience in Python is required
• Knowledge of Web Browsers (Browser developer tools and consoled interface)
• Knowledge of Restful service call (HTTP, JSON)
• Experience with API level verification
• Experience in developing test cases, end-end tests for Web application testing
• Experience with Jenkins, Git
• Understanding of QA and Test Automation Methodology
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud systems would be a plus 

Job responsibilities

• Design and build automated tests
• Create test documentation
• Manage test datasets to make automated tests reproducible
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and help with end-customer-faced issues
• Troubleshoot – framework/CI/env issues and fix them
• Execute manual or automated tests & regression tests, analyzing results, reporting bugs, etc.
• Work closely with team to understand what they are developing to provide quality suggestions and to develop test plans
