QA Automation Engineer (Java / Selenium)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to work on UI test automation using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

The role is focused on building and maintaining automated test suites, improving test coverage, and supporting product quality during active development.

This is a time-limited engagement (up to 6 months) with a full-time setup, though workload may vary depending on the project phase.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI automation tests using Selenium WebDriver
• Write clean, maintainable test code in Java
• Work with TestNG and Maven
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines
• Analyze test results and investigate failures
• Collaborate with developers and QA team on quality improvements
• Participate in test planning and automation strategy discussions
• Maintain test documentation and reports

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java Core (Java 13–21):
   
  • Collections
  • Streams
  • Functional interfaces
• 
   

• Solid understanding of OOP principles

  • Interfaces
  • Abstract classes

   

• Significant hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with TestNG and Maven
• Understanding of OAuth2 in automated testing scenarios
• English: good speaking and writing skills

Nice to have

• Experience setting up local environments and complex configurations
• Experience with Allure for test reporting
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams
