Automation QA Engineer (Middle / Middle+)

Required skills

• 2+ years of commercial experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Selenide
• Experience working with Selenoid (running tests in containers)
• Solid experience in API testing, including:
  • Postman
  • JMeter
  • Rest Assured
• Experience with TestNG for test execution and reporting
• Understanding of BDD principles and experience with Cucumber
• Experience with build and dependency management using Maven
• Confident use of Git (GitHub)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, including:
  • GitLab CI
  • Jenkins
• Experience using IntelliJ IDEA
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes
• Ability to analyze requirements and create clear, maintainable test cases and automated tests

Nice to have

• Experience with test strategy and test framework design
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Experience with performance or load testing
• Mentoring or code review experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and provide clear reports on test coverage and quality
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams
• Participate in improving testing processes and tools
