Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js) to $4500

What you will do

• Build and iterate on modern web apps using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Own UI quality end to end: performance, accessibility, SEO, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ship quickly without breaking things: use automated checks plus visual testing to catch UI regressions.
• Experiment fast, validate outcomes, then harden into solid production code.
• Collaborate in a senior, low process team: clear specs, tight feedback loops, high standards.
   

Must have

• 5+ years building products in team settings (we will deep dive into what you built and the impact).
• Strong Next.js and React experience, plus TypeScript fluency.
• Strong engineering hygiene: clean architecture, code reviews, pragmatic testing, and performance thinking.
• Proven ability to deliver fast and safely under real world constraints.
• AI native workflow: you actively use AI coding agents for implementation speed, but you can also enforce correctness via tests, types, and review discipline.

  Quality and tooling expectations

• Automated testing mindset (unit, integration, and E2E where it makes sense).
• Visual regression testing workflow.
• Solid CI discipline, ideally with preview environments per branch or PR.
• Nice to have
• Fullstack experience, or strong interest in moving there (Node.js or Python API work, data flows, auth, payments).
• Experience operating apps with meaningful traffic and uptime requirements (observability, incident hygiene, rollbacks).
• Deployment and infra exposure: Vercel, AWS, GCloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

• Orchestration experience (workflows, background jobs, event driven systems)
