Lead QA Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine QA strategies and testing processes (manual, compliance, performance, security)
  • Lead and mentor the QA engineering team, driving performance, growth, and effective task allocation
  • Oversee all phases of slot game testing, including test plan creation, test case design, execution, and risk management
  • Champion compliance testing efforts to meet regulatory standards (e.g., MGA)
  • Drive the API testing process for seamless game and platform integrations
  • Collaborate effectively with Development, Product, Project Management, and Compliance teams to ensure top-tier product quality
  • Participate actively in the hiring process for QA talent
  • Prioritize testing activities aligned with business objectives and release schedules
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software Quality Assurance, with a significant focus on the iGaming industry and slot game testing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA leadership or mentoring role
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes (STLC), and testing types
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective QA strategies
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
  • Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Advanced use of Chrome DevTools and equivalent browser tools to reproduce complex issues, collect and analyze diagnostic artifacts (console, network, HAR), and perform accurate root cause analysis
  • Solid SQL skills for database validation
  • Experience analyzing logs and using browser developer tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or higher
Bonus Skills
  • Experience testing B2B products and platform integrations
  • Experience with compliance testing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Understanding of test automation principles and implementation strategies
  • Hands-on experience developing automation tests (UI/API)
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
