Senior IT Infrastructure Expert (Cloud / Platform)

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Expert to join a long-term project in the electronics industry, focusing on cloud-based web hosting, container platforms, and enterprise application infrastructure.

🔎 Role Overview

You will be responsible for the design, administration, and continuous improvement of cloud and on-prem application infrastructure, supporting modern web platforms, containerized workloads, and enterprise environments.
 

The role combines Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Platforms, and DevOps practices.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and optimize cloud-based web hosting and application platforms
• Administer and support web servers and reverse proxies (IIS, Apache, NGINX)
• Manage application servers such as Apache Tomcat and RedHat JBoss
• Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and/or Windows Terminal Server (WTS) environments
• Implement and maintain load balancing, web services, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions
• Design and support container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS/EKS)
• Apply DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of platforms
   

✅ Must-have Skills & Experience

Cloud & Container Platforms

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including:
  • Azure App Service, Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions
  • AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps
  • Amazon EKS / ECS
  • Red Hat OpenShift
• Solid understanding of container orchestration and cloud-native architectures

Web & Application Infrastructure

• Administration of IIS, Apache HTTP Server, NGINX
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and RedHat JBoss
• Knowledge of Web Services, Load Balancing, and WAF

DevOps & Automation

• Deep experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Familiarity with automation, configuration management, and continuous deployment
   

🧠 Nice to Have

• Enterprise-scale infrastructure experience
• Background in electronics or industrial environments
• Security and compliance awareness in cloud platforms
