General QA Engineer

QA Madness is a European IT service company focusing strongly on QA and cybersecurity. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Poland.

We are looking for an experienced General QA Engineer to join our team.
Project is a healthcare platform that assists with the digitisation of research data.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining an automation framework while following industry best practices.

Work type: Office/Remote.

Technical level: Middle.

Job category: QA.

Project: Healthcare Project.

English level: Upper-Intermediate.

Hard Skills:

— 5+ years of experience in QA or test engineering, with a strong hands-on mindset;

— Strong manual testing experience of web applications (functional & non-functional);

— Familiarity with tools like Postman, Playwright, etc;

— Proficiency in test scripting languages (JavaScript);

— Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows;

— Solid understanding of agile development, SDLC, and QA best practices;

— Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

— At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (effective written and verbal communication).

Nice to have:
— API testing and performance testing (e.g. verifying application stability under hundreds or thousands of concurrent users);

Domain experience in one or more of the following: (Chatbot testing / conversational AI; Radiology/medical imaging software (e.g. MRI annotation tools); Testing ML Ops pipelines);

— Experience in planning and coordinating usability testing sessions to improve UX and gather feedback from end-users;

— ISTQB FL certification.

Soft Skills:

— Problem solver, attention to detail;

— Proactive and independent: able to work autonomously, improve QA processes, apply Shift-Left QA, define QA requirements, identify risks early, and define and develop test strategy.
