Junior QA Engineer

About the Project

A database system designed for client and service management in HIV prevention programs. The system registers visitors, tracks provided services, and generates reports.

Team: Fully Ukrainian, small and supportive team where you'll be the sole QA. The PM and team members are ready to onboard and assist you throughout the process.

Required Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in software testing
• Understanding of the full testing cycle and participation in it
• Experience creating test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Knowledge and practical application of basic test design techniques
• Basic knowledge of REST API (request/response structure, status codes)
• Familiarity with main testing types (regression, smoke, sanity)
• Basic knowledge of SQL (ability to write simple SELECT and JOIN queries)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles

Key Responsibilities

• Testing completed functionality and post-bug-fix functionality
• Documenting bugs in Jira
• Creating tasks for developers in Jira
• Gathering requirements from the client
• Supplementing technical specifications with descriptions of functionality being developed
• Supporting the system during the implementation phase, registering bugs, and testing updates
