Android developer with BLE

We are developing a MedTech solution designed to support rehabilitation after lower-limb injuries and surgeries. The product ecosystem consists of 2 Android applications one for patients and one for healthcare professionals working together with connected medical hardware via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Responsibilities

• Continue development of Android applications (Doctor & Patient) within a shared modular codebase
• Implement business logic and application workflows
• Develop and maintain stable BLE communication with medical hardware devices
• Build and extend features on top of an existing clean architecture
• Work with Jetpack Compose and MVI-based state management
• Integrate backend APIs and manage local data persistence
• Collaborate with backend, product, and hardware teams
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability

Requirements

• Strong experience with Android development (Kotlin) 5+ years
• Solid understanding of clean architecture and modularization
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience with MVI / unidirectional data flow
• Experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or readiness to work deeply with BLE
• Experience with Room, Retrofit, Hilt
• Ability to work with an existing architecture and extend it thoughtfully
• Experience in MedTech or hardware-related projects is a plus

• Experience with medical or IoT devices
• Experience working in regulated or health-related domains
• Experience building scalable Android applications from scratch
