Senior B2B Sales Executive

Engagement: 1099 contractor
Focus offers: Fixed-price projects ($50,000+) and Staff Augmentation ($6,500+ per month)
Target buyers: US SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise

 

Role summary

DTEAM is an established software development partner delivering fixed-price builds and long-term team augmentation for US clients. We are hiring one experienced US-market seller who can own revenue end-to-end - sourcing, discovery, proposals, negotiation, and closing. This is not an inbound SDR role and not a training position. You bring an active network or book of business and you get paid on closed revenue.

 

What you will sell

  • Fixed-price projects ($50,000+)
    • Web portals, e-commerce, platform rebuilds
    • CRM and internal systems (fixed-scope where appropriate)
    • AI integrations and workflow automation as part of delivery
  • Staff augmentation / outstaff ($6,500+ per employee per month)
    • Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, PM
    • Monthly engagements with clear role definitions and delivery ownership

       

What you will do

  • Build your pipeline from your network and outbound outreach
  • Run discovery and qualification with senior stakeholders
  • Shape solutions with our technical team - scope, approach, and timeline
  • Lead pricing and commercial negotiations
  • Drive contracts to signature (MSA/SOW support provided)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasts in CRM

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years B2B sales in software development, IT services, or consulting
  • Proven US-market closings with $50k+ projects and/or $6.5k+ monthly staff aug
  • Strong discovery and offer packaging skills - turn pain into a clear scope and proposal
  • Confident in pricing, negotiation, and procurement workflows
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Independent, reliable, and comfortable being measured by closed revenue

 

Compensation (commission-only, uncapped)

  • 10% commission on each client payment for 12 months
    • The 12-month period starts from the contract signature date
    • Applies to payments collected during that 12-month window
  • Commission is paid on cash collected from the client
  • You keep earning during the 12-month window even if the engagement ends
    • If your contractor relationship ends, commissions continue for the remainder of the 12-month window, based on collected payments
  • We provide visibility into client payment status

    • You will have access to payment information needed to verify commissions

     

Attribution rules (kept simple on purpose)

  • Commission applies to accounts you source and close
  • “Source” means you originated the opportunity from your network or outbound and introduced DTEAM to the buyer (and the account was not already active in our pipeline)
  • Final attribution and edge cases are defined in the contractor agreement to avoid disputes

What success looks like

  • 30 days: clear ICP and messaging, active pipeline from your network, qualified meetings booked
  • 60 days: proposals in motion, negotiation cycles running, predictable next steps
  • 90 days: first closed deals and a repeatable motion
