Mid–Senior / Senior Software Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mid–Senior/Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team working on a next-generation cloud and quantum computing platform. This role involves building backend services, orchestration components, and cloud-based workflows that support high-scale, advanced computing scenarios.

You will contribute to a critical new project focused on backend development and DevOps pipeline implementation. The team also follows a rotating one-week on-call schedule during business hours.

We are looking for a strong engineer with deep backend expertise, solid cloud experience, and the ability to operate with ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements
 

• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET;
• Solid experience developing REST APIs and backend services;
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud;
• Practical experience with Python (automation, scripting, tooling);
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling;
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, or TAEF);
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling;
• Shell scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash);
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ownership mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript;
• Background in distributed systems or complex cloud architectures. 

Working conditions

• On-site requirement: Bellevue / Greater Seattle Area — presence in the office required once every 2 weeks for collaboration sessions with the client team; 
• Time zone: Full overlap with PST;
• On-call: One-week rotations during business hours according to the team schedule.
