QA Engineer

27 Nerds is an IT company based in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, with 10+ years building products for esports, gaming, and creators. From Arena27 (esports club network Poland/Ukraine) and Bo3.gg to projects in cybersecurity and e-commerce. Currently developing a white-label platform for bloggers: branded App Store apps with feeds from YouTube/Twitch/Insta/TikTok + chats/content.

Looking for QA Engineer to test backend APIs, web admin panels, and social integrations for MVP (192 hours over 9-12 weeks), part-time 40%,200 hours over 9-12 weeks), with potential extension.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Create test plans for all backend modules: social API integrations (OAuth, rate limits, feed normalization), WebSocket messaging (delivery/read receipts), embedded livestream (status/URL validation).
• Test admin panels: Creator Dashboard (content upload, DM inbox), Super Admin (moderation queue, feature flags, creators/users management).
• API testing (Postman/Newman collections): authentication (JWT), multi-tenant isolation, content CRUD (S3 upload), notifications (Firebase), security (rate limiting, GDPR deletion).
• Regression testing, staging validation, bug reports, support developers with reproduction.
• Security testing: input validation, audit logging, API error responses.
   

Requirements:

• 4+ years backend/web QA, strong API testing (Postman, REST APIs, JSON).
• Experience testing WebSocket real-time features, basic SQL (PostgreSQL data validation).
• Test case documentation, Jira/Linear bug tracking.
• English B1+ (specs, bug reports, team communication).
   

Nice to have:

• Automation (Jest, Cypress, Playwright for APIs/UI).
• AWS environment testing, social media API testing experience.
• Esports/media projects background.
