Junior QA Engineer (Manual)

Evernetica is looking for a Junior QA Engineer (Manual) to join the Djaminn product team - a mobile platform focused on creative user-generated content and social interaction. We consider candidates with 0-6 months of commercial experience or strong training / pet-project background.

About the project

Djaminn is a creative social product where key flows include content creation and publishing, feed interactions, user profiles, communication features, and ensuring stable app behavior across different devices and OS versions.

Requirements

• Understanding of QA fundamentals (SDLC/STLC, test types, defect lifecycle).
• Ability to write clear bug reports (steps, expected/actual, environment, evidence).
• Basic experience with test documentation (checklists, test cases).
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture
• Basic API testing skills (Postman/Swagger), understanding of JSON.
• Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira or similar).
• Willingness to test mobile apps (iOS/Android); good eye for UI/UX details.

Personal skills

• Strong communication and teamwork mindset (dev/design/PM).
• Attention to detail, responsibility, structured approach.
• Critical thinking and ability to clarify ambiguous requirements.
• Fast learner, open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing (functional / regression / smoke / exploratory).
• Review requirements and UI designs, identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Create and maintain test documentation.
• Report issues, track bug lifecycle, verify fixes.
• Validate app stability across devices/OS versions; basic log analysis when needed.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to reproduce and investigate issues.

Would be a plus

• Any experience with mobile testing on real devices / emulators.
• Experience with Charles Proxy or network inspection tools.
• BrowserStack or other device cloud services.
• Basic understanding of GraphQL.
