Junior Frontend Developer (React / TypeScript) to $500

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who already has real hands-on experience building complete, non-trivial web applications and wants to grow into a strong mid-level engineer.

This role is not for beginners who only followed tutorials. You should have already shipped real projects and understand how modern frontend applications are built and maintained.

Requirements

• at least 6 months of hands-on experience building full-featured, production-like websites or web applications;
• strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• confident usage of TypeScript in React projects;
• solid experience with React and modern React patterns (hooks, component composition, state management basics);
• advanced JavaScript fundamentals;
• experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks;
• ability to write clean, maintainable, and readable code.

Computer Science Basics (must understand)

Layout & UI Skills

• high-quality, responsive layouts
• mobile-first approach
• understanding of layout systems (Flexbox, Grid)
• attention to spacing, typography, and visual consistency

Nice to Have

• experience with Next.js
• experience with Firebase or Supabase
• experience integrating APIs
• basic understanding of authentication flows
• familiarity with testing fundamentals (even minimal)
