We're looking for a passionate iOS Developer who loves crafting buttery-smooth, high-performance mobile experiences at scale — especially ones that involve live video, real-time interaction, and social magic.

What You'll Do

• Design and build beautiful, responsive iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI (with UIKit when needed)
• Own end-to-end implementation of live streaming flows: joining streams, multi-guest hosting, real-time chat, gift animations, viewer interactions, stream quality switching
• Work closely with our WebRTC / low-latency streaming stack to deliver sub-2-second latency and rock-solid playback even on poor networks
• Implement complex real-time UI: live participant grids, reaction overlays, dynamic leaderboards, co-stream layouts, virtual gifting effects
• Optimize for performance and battery life — live video + constant networking is unforgiving
• Collaborate tightly with product designers, Android engineers, backend, and streaming media teams
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
• Help define and evolve our iOS architecture as we scale to tens of millions of concurrent viewers
• Stay current with the latest iOS features (iOS 18/19, Apple silicon optimizations, Spatial Computing if we expand to visionOS, etc.)

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional iOS development with shipped consumer apps in the App Store
• Strong command of Swift and deep understanding of SwiftUI + Combine (or RxSwift)
• Solid experience with AVFoundation, AVPlayer, HLS, and low-latency video playback techniques
• Experience building real-time or near real-time features (chat, live updates, WebSockets, long-polling, etc.)
• Understanding of networking at scale: handling reconnects, adaptive bitrate, bandwidth estimation
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools (Instruments, Time Profiler, Network Link Conditioner)
• Experience writing unit/UI tests (XCTest, Swift Testing)
• Comfortable working in fast-moving product teams with frequent releases

Nice-to-Have

• Previous work on live streaming, short-form video, social media, or creator-economy products
• Experience with WebRTC, Agora, Vonage, or other real-time communication SDKs
• Knowledge of gift/reward systems, in-app purchases, StoreKit
• Familiarity with GraphQL / REST + real-time subscriptions
• Experience optimizing for different network conditions (4G/5G/Wi-Fi, international roaming)
• Published apps with >1M downloads or high App Store ratings
