Job Summary

We’re looking for an intern who is eager to grow into a strong DevOps Systems Engineer. You will work alongside our team on real systems, contributing to the development of resilient solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines
• Regularly communicate with mentors and team members
• Receive and integrate feedback to drive improvements
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide your input
• Learn and navigate the codebase to contribute to real system’s features, solve problems and complete tasks with minimal guidance

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable infrastructure code with mentorship and code reviews from senior engineers

   

Qualifications and Skills

• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core Computer Science fundamentals
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Good experience with Linux OS, the command line, and scripting
• Knowledge of Python or another backend programming language
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services (EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, etc)
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on working in distributed teams
• Proactive continuous learner with good problem-solving skills

• Good written and spoken English

   

Nice to have

• Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic data modelling

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
