Senior Frontend Developer
Job description
We’re looking for a senior frontend developer to join our core team and work on complex technical challenges.
Our client is a well-funded, fast-growing startup ($7M raised in seed) building a global equity management and compliance platform. Their solution enables dozens of customers to effectively manage their equity compensation plans, ensuring compliance with each country’s laws and regulations, and optimizing the tax treatment of employees' equity.
The product sits at the intersection of fintech, legaltech, and AI, solving one of the hardest infrastructure problems in global business: real-time equity and compliance automation.
In this role, you’ll work with a top-tier engineering team (ex-Google, ex-Meta) and will design and implement elegant, high-performance interfaces for complex financial and legal data - making global compliance intuitive and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain advanced UI components with React.js, MUI, Zustand and more
- Collaborate with product and design to translate complex workflows into intuitive experiences
- Drive performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design
- Implement and maintain frontend testing using Playwright (unit, integration, E2E)
- Participate in system architecture discussions and cross-team projects
Required skillset & experience
- 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development
- Expert in React.js and TypeScript
- Familiarity with design systems or component libraries (MUI preferred)
- Experience with state management (Context API, Redux, Zustand, Jotai or similar)
- Skilled in testing frameworks and E2E automation
- Strong sense of design and attention to user experience
Bonus points
- Experience working in fintech or complex B2B SaaS platforms
- Understanding of backend integration and data-driven UIs
