Our client is an early-stage US health & longevity startup building an iOS-first medical platform for clinicians and clinics. The product focuses on creating a holistic, data-driven view of patient health by integrating Apple HealthKit, wearable devices, and medical sensors, with AI used to turn this data into meaningful clinical insights. The team is small and senior, combining engineering expertise with real medical background. This is a true early-stage environment where engineers have ownership, influence architectural decisions, and work closely with product, AI, and medical experts. The culture is technically strong, open, and pragmatic — focused on building quality solutions while moving fast. We are looking for an iOS Developer to work on core product development, HealthKit integrations, and scalable iOS architecture. This role offers real impact, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape a medical product from the ground up.

Key Requirements:

🔹 5+ years of experience in iOS development, primarily with Swift;
🔹 Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI;
🔹 Good eye for UI/UX and attention to detail in mobile interfaces;
🔹Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM) and clean code principles;
🔹 Strong knowledge of memory management and concurrency in iOS;
🔹 Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the App Store release process;
🔹 Experience integrating Apple HealthKit and working with health-related iOS APIs;
🔹 Ability to work with data-heavy mobile applications, including syncing large datasets with backend services;
🔹 Understanding of offline-first mobile architecture and background data processing;
🔹 Familiarity with cloud-based systems (AWS) and backend communication;
🔹 Basic understanding of machine learning / AI concepts and how mobile apps interact with ML-driven systems;
🔹 Experience collaborating with backend services (Python / Node.js) is a strong plus;
🔹 Familiarity with DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CD, infrastructure basics; Terraform is a plus);
🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

What you will do:

🔹 Design and develop the core iOS application for a health and longevity medical platform used by clinicians and patients; 🔹 Build and maintain deep integrations with Apple HealthKit, wearable devices, and medical sensors (including smartwatches and glucose monitors);
🔹 Work with complex, data-heavy health datasets, ensuring accurate collection, processing, synchronization, and offline availability;
🔹 Collaborate closely with backend, AI/ML engineers, and medical experts to transform raw health data into meaningful insights and recommendations;
🔹 Take ownership of iOS architecture, performance, and scalability, contributing to technical decisions from early stages;
🔹 Implement and improve offline-first and background data processing scenarios;
🔹 Ensure data security, privacy, and reliability in a regulated medical environment;
🔹 Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to data integrity, performance, and device integrations;
🔹 Actively participate in product discussions, proposing technical solutions and improvements rather than just executing tasks;
🔹 Contribute to testing, stability, and continuous improvement of the mobile application;
