Seeking a skilled developer to build and maintain a premium hedge fund intelligence platform.

• You'll combine Python/PostgreSQL ETL pipelines, REST APIs, AI tools (LLMs for data summarization & querying), and custom WordPress features to deliver interactive investor letters, reports, grids, and subscriber content for institutional-grade insights at retail prices.
• Several hours US Timezone (EST) Overlap

A specialized online platform that serves as an institutional investor intelligence service focused on hedge funds, value investing, and related alternative investments. It provides "institutional-level" data and insights at more accessible (retail-friendly) prices.

Your Role

Build & maintain a premium investment intelligence platform (hedge fund data, letters, reports) using WordPress frontend + AI/data backend.

You will be the key technical builder and maintainer of the investment intelligence platform, combining backend data pipelines with a WordPress frontend. This hybrid role covers some data engineering, AI integration, and web development to deliver institutional-grade hedge fund/value investing insights to a growing subscriber audience. 

Responsibilities

• Audit and optimize WordPress and infrastructure for performance, security, and caching; handle subscriber access. 
• Build ETL pipelines for large financial data import/transformation (PostgreSQL, Python/Pandas/Airflow)
• Create REST APIs to serve data for dynamic tables, grids, and reports
• Develop WordPress custom plugins/themes/blocks for interactive data displays & subscriber features.
• Automate data workflows & iterate on user-facing features

Requirements

• 3+ years dev experience (full-stack or backend-heavy)
• Solid WordPress (custom plugins, REST API, optimization)
• Strong Python (ETL, APIs: FastAPI) + SQL (PostgreSQL)
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Serverless, Lambda. 
• JavaScript + frontend libs for tables/grids (DataTables/Chart.js)
• Hands-on AI integration (LLMs, prompt engineering, summarization/NLP)
• B2/C1 English with several hours of overlap with North America (EST).  
• Bonus: Financial data experience, Docker/cloud, hedge fund knowledge
