Development Team Lead (HTML/Markup team)

We are looking for an experienced and organized Development Team Lead to manage our implementation team in Toronto. You will coordinate and support front-end developers responsible for UI implementation across multiple web projects. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring technical know-how and team management experience.
 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of front-end developers, ensuring timely delivery of assigned projects
• Plan and assign tasks, manage team capacity and workflows
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure quality control
• Collaborate with design, product, and back-end teams to align implementation goals
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate continuous improvement
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years in front-end or web development, and 1+ year in a lead/management role
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, pre-processors (SASS/SCSS), and basic JS
• Experience in managing implementation/templating teams
• Strong project ownership, time management, and people skills
• Fluent communication in English and experience working in cross-functional teams
   

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Agile or Kanban workflows
• Experience with Jira/Confluence, Bitbucket/Git
• Background in iGaming or regulated platforms
