Middle+ PHP Laravel+React.js Developers

We are seeking a high-performing Middle+ Full Stack Developer to join the engineering team of an American Fintech SaaS product. The project is a scalable payment solutions platform that provides a flexible approach to payment processing for SMBs and fintech startups. This role is ideal for a backend-heavy developer (80% Backend / 20% Frontend) who thrives in a cloud-native environment and is eager to work with modern architectures and AI-driven development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend core of the payment platform using PHP and the Laravel framework. (representing approximately 80% of the role).
• Architect and evolve complex GraphQL APIs to support a wide range of payment scenarios and methods.
• Build and optimize scalable, fault-tolerant services to ensure the platform remains stable under high-load conditions.
• Develop and integrate modern, responsive user interface components using React.js (representing approximately 20% of the role).
• Implement and manage caching strategies using Redis or Memcached to improve application performance and responsiveness.
• Work within a cloud-native environment, managing containerization and orchestration through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain observability tools, utilizing logging and monitoring systems like Logz.io to ensure platform health.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions.
• Engage in proactive code reviews to maintain high code quality and mentor team members through technical feedback.
• Apply secure coding principles and best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data and maintain fintech security standards.
• Explore and leverage agentic AI tooling and autonomous coding agents to optimize the development workflow and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Laravel or other modern PHP frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in using Redis and/or Memcached.
• Proven experience working with GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native / SaaS architectures (scalability, resilience, multitenancy).
• Experience with logging and monitoring systems (Logz.io or similar).
• English level: B2–C2.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in Fintech or payment systems.
• Experience using agentic AI tooling (e.g., autonomous coding agents, Claude Code, etc.).
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
