We're looking for a hands‑on technical leader who can drive automation strategy, build scalable test frameworks, and elevate engineering excellence across modern modular and microservices platforms.
In this role, you’ll own automation architecture, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable software at speed. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor automation engineers, creating a high‑performing, collaborative team;
- Architect, enhance, and scale automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing;
- Build and optimize automated test suites using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Node.js;
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI);
- Leverage AI/LLM tools for intelligent test creation, selection, and model testing;
- Drive continuous improvement, champion best practices, and lead POCs for new tech;
- Partner with development teams on debugging, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in QA Automation, including 3+ years leading teams or frameworks;
- Strong coding skills (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#);
- Deep experience with Playwright and modern automation frameworks;
- Knowledge of microservices, API testing (REST/GraphQL), SQL, and cloud‑native environments;
- Experience with DevOps & CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes;
- Familiarity with AI‑driven testing, LLMs, GenAI tooling, or agentic automation;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
- Comfortable working in Agile/SAFe environments will be a plus.
