Python Backend Engineer

We’re Aiffin — a fintech B2B company that streamlines vehicle financing and car leasing for micro and small businesses.

To date, we’ve issued €7M+ in leasing loans and financed 300+ vehicle applications. We operate in France.

We’re currently looking for an Experienced Python Developer to join our team.

🔹 Tech Stack:
Python, API, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Hetzner, Git, NoSQL

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
1. Support and enhance the existing marketplace.
2. Develop and maintain the AI + rule-based credit scoring module.
3. Work on backend services and (optionally) admin panel backend.
4. Support existing microservices and build new ones.
5. Participate in technical decision-making, brainstorming, and planning.
6. Take part in code reviews, demos, calls, and team meetings.

🔹 Candidate Requirements:
1. Strong experience with Python.
2. Strong experience with FastAPI.
3. Good knowledge of relational DBs (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
4. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Hetzner.
5. Strong Git skills + collaborative development workflows.
6. Experience writing unit tests.
7. Experience integrating AI into a project.

🔹 Would Be a Plus:
1. English is a plus, but not required.
2. Experience with NoSQL (Firestore / MongoDB).
3. Experience integrating 3rd-party services.
