Senior Business Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Developer/Sales Manager to join our team!

 

Own and execute institutional capital formation for GammaPrime by sourcing, qualifying, and converting professional capital allocators into active platform users and repeat counterparties.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Build and manage direct relationships with:

  • Family offices
  • Institutional investors
  • RIAs / wealth platforms
  • Private banks / CIO offices

• Drive allocator onboarding and capital commitments into:

  • Private market opportunities
  • Secondaries and private credit, others (as applicable)
  • Lead allocator conversations from first contact through allocation decision
  • Own a qualified allocator pipeline (not vanity leads)
  • Coordinate with product and investment teams to match allocator demand with supply
  • Represent GammaPrime in allocator meetings, conferences, and closed-door capital introductions

 

Required Background:

Candidates must have:

• 7–12 years experience in institutional distribution, capital raising, or fund placement

• Direct experience selling to professional allocators (not retail)

• Prior roles at one or more of the following:

  • Placement agents
  • Private market investment platforms
  • Private banks / UHNW desks
  • Alternative asset managers (IR / distribution)

• Demonstrated capital raised:

Minimum €/$50m cumulative across prior roles

 

• Familiarity with:

  • Private equity
  • private credit
  • secondaries or structured alternatives

• Ability to articulate:

  • Allocator decision processes
  • Ticket sizes
  • Investment committee dynamics
