Senior Automation QA Engineer (.NET Backend and Mobile) (IRC286934)

We are delivering an MVP-phase enterprise solution focused on route planning, zoning logic, and real-time operational support.
The system includes a .NET backend (REST APIs), a mobile application for custodians, and a web interface for operational control.
Quality is enforced primarily through test automation, with manual testing used only where automation is not feasible.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Strong experience with API test automation (REST)
• Hands-on experience testing .NET-based backend systems
• Experience with mobile test automation: Android
• Programming skills in C#, Java, or Kotlin (for test automation)
  Experience with:
  – CI/CD tools (AWS)
  – version control systems

• Understanding of:
  – client–server architecture
  – authentication & authorization mechanisms
  – mobile app lifecycle and limitations in automation

   

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for:
  – NET backend (API automation)
  – Mobile application (Android and/or iOS)
• Develop and execute automated end-to-end test scenarios covering:
  – authentication and role-based access
  – route generation and recalculation
  – manual overrides and prioritization
  – GPS-related flows (where automatable)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure automated regression coverage for MVP scope
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers on fixes
• Define and maintain test data and test environments
• Actively support UAT readiness through stable automated regression
• Contribute to quality gates and release readiness decisions
