QA Engineer (Manual)

We are looking for an energetic and meticulous Manual QA Engineer to join the VEN Commerce team. Our projects involve complex e-commerce solutions built on Magento (2.x), including custom themes, extensions, and deep integrations with payment systems.

Technical Skills (Core):

• Experience: 2+ years of commercial experience in manual Web testing.
• E-commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of the order lifecycle, shopping cart logic, checkout flows, and payment methods.
• Web Fundamentals: Proficiency in HTML/CSS and experience in Responsive Design testing.
• DevTools & Proxy: Master of Chrome DevTools, experience with logs and traffic inspection tools (Charles Proxy, Fiddler).
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL (MySQL) at the level of writing queries for data verification.
• Documentation: Experience creating and maintaining high-quality test documentation (test cases, bug reports, check-lists).
• English: Intermediate level or higher.

AI Skills:

• Prompt Engineering: Ability to use Gemini/GPT to speed up the creation of test cases and generate test data.
• AI Literacy: Understanding the capabilities and limitations of AI systems (validating responses for logical errors).

Will be a plus (Bonus Points):

• Automation Experience: Experience with Playwright or Katalon Studio (not just running scripts, but actively participating in creating new tests).
• Hands-on experience with the Magento 2 platform.
• Understanding of GitFlow and basic Linux environment skills.

• Manual Testing: Testing front-end and back-end of websites, new themes, and Magento extensions with a focus on end-user experience.
• Business Logic: Deep testing of business logic, requirements, and complex client scenarios.
• Quality Control: Ensuring quality at all stages of development—from requirements analysis to release.
• AI Implementation: Using AI tools to automate routine documentation tasks.
• Automation Support: Participating in automation processes (depending on your experience and desire to grow).
