Lead Android Engineer (IRC286602)
Job Description
- At least 6 years of relevant commercial experience as an Android developer;
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flows;
- Solid understanding of OOP principles, Data Structures and Algorithm Basic Concepts;
- Good understanding of Android SDK and modern Android development practices, including Compose;
- Experience with Android Accessibility API;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines or willingness to work closely with them;
- Experience in Healthcare or other regulated domains is a strong plus;
- Good understanding of RestAPI, experience with any message broker will be a plus;
- Active user of GenAI in daily development workflows;
- High sense of ownership and delivery responsibility;
- Self-motivated to learn and improve skills on regular basis;
- At least Upper Intermediate English level for daily communication.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Product Team on a daily basis to align technical delivery with business requirements;
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable mobile platform;
- Own and drive CI/CD processes to ensure reliable and efficient delivery pipelines;
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering best practices in coding, architecture, and quality;
- Report progress, risks, and milestones directly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment;
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, architectural discussions, and planning activities;
- Ensure that solutions meet the highest standards of security, privacy, and compliance, especially in the context of sensitive healthcare data;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data analysts, UX/UI designers, and QA to deliver high-quality, user-focused features;
- Take ownership of system reliability and performance, proactively identifying areas for optimization and improvement;
- Contribute to establishing a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
