🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing QA team.

This role is automation-first, with a strong server-side and backend focus, combined with browser-based UI automation.
You will work on testing a complex, configuration-driven financial system, ensuring correctness, stability, and scalability.

The work includes:

• automation of backend and UI test scenarios,
• server-side validation via logs and system behavior,
• and continuous improvement of test coverage and quality.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend services and web UI
• Analyze server-side logs and system behavior to validate processing correctness
• Review specifications and requirements to identify edge cases, missing scenarios, and risks
• Ensure full test coverage for configuration-driven logic and complex flows
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA to improve testability and automation coverage
• Gradually replace manual tests with automation, while supporting manual execution where needed
• Participate in rapid release cycles, ensuring high quality and stability

🔹 Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation
• Proven experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Python-based frameworks, Robot Framework, or similar)
• Strong Linux / Unix command-line skills
• Experience with server-side testing, including logs, configurations, and backend flows
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with version control systems (Git / SVN)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis

🔹 Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright for UI automation
• Backend automation experience using Python
• Experience testing distributed systems or microservices
• FinTech, trading, banking, or other complex domain exposure
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted / embedded automation approaches
