Risk Team Lead

We are looking for a Risk Team Lead with growth potential to Head. At the initial stage, this role is focused on operational efficiency, team management, and team structuring, with a gradual transition toward strategic development of risk systems and processes within the payments department.

 

Requirements

  • Understanding of risk factors, operational and procedural processes in payments and antifraud
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding, training, knowledge assessment, and performance control
  • Experience in systematizing information, building knowledge bases, and implementing processes and procedures
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team management and structuring
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in iGaming, sweepstakes, fintech, or high-risk payments
  • Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring
  • Experience building reporting and KPI systems
  • Team management experience
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience working with any payment systems
  • Knowledge of KYC
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Jira, and Confluence

 

Responsibilities

  • Systematizing processes and documentation, creating a unified KYC Playbook
  • Standardizing training, operational processes, and incident escalation
  • Training and testing the team
  • Optimizing withdrawal processes
  • Implementing hold and payout rules for different player segments
  • Launching automated payouts for low-risk categories
  • Improving communication with players regarding withdrawal statuses
  • Launching a QA system and conducting regular quality checks
  • Using checklists and implementing feedback and training based on identified issues
  • Defining KPIs and performance and quality metrics
  • Setting up KPI monitoring and a motivation system
  • Developing and launching weekly dashboards in BI systems
  • Monitoring team efficiency, risk control, and bankroll management analysis
  • Analyzing team workload and efficiency
  • Planning team scaling (hiring)
  • Building a roadmap for department development for the next quarter
