Full-Stack Developer (HTML/CSS + PHP) to $1500

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (PHP + HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to join our remote team and work on the development and maintenance of custom PHP-based web platforms.

The main focus of this role is working with custom backend logic and frontend implementation, rather than heavy framework usage. Experience with WordPress or other CMS is welcome but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate is confident in pure PHP development, understands how frontend and backend interact, and is comfortable maintaining and extending existing systems.

Necessary skills:

— Strong knowledge of PHP (3+ years)
— Confident skills in HTML / CSS (2+ years)
— Practical experience with JavaScript / jQuery
— Experience working with custom PHP projects (without frameworks)
— Understanding of MySQL and basic database design
— Experience with Git
— Ability to communicate in English (B1+) for team discussions and calls
— Experience working with task trackers (Jira or similar)
 

Will be a plus:

— Experience with WordPress / WooCommerce
— Experience with any PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
— Experience with other CMS
— Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
— Experience working on high-load or long-term projects
 

Responsibilities:

— Develop and maintain custom PHP-based websites and platforms
— Build and improve responsive layouts using HTML/CSS
— Implement client-side functionality using JavaScript / jQuery
— Write and maintain server-side logic in PHP
— Work with existing codebase: refactoring, bug fixing, optimization
— Collaborate with the team via Jira, Git, and regular online communication
— Troubleshoot technical issues and propose practical solutions
