Middle Back-End Engineer

At Red Rocket Software, we are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Middle Node.js Developer with at least 2 years of commercial experience who is ready to grow within a team of experienced engineers. You will work on the backend of modern web applications, solve real business problems, and contribute to scalable, production-ready solutions.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain server-side application logic using Node.js and TypeScript
• Work with NestJS
• Integrate external APIs, databases, and third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality
• Debug, test, and enhance existing functionality
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)

• Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions

   

What we expect:

• 2+ years of commercial backend development experience with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database interaction, and access control
• Hands-on experience with NestJS
• Confident use of Git and version control systems
• English level B1 or higher (spoken and written)
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and proactive mindset
• Willingness to grow, learn, and take ownership
• Understanding of backend security and performance optimization (will be a plus)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) (will be a plus)
