Vitastrong is a fast-growing European company in the sports nutrition industry, expanding rapidly and looking for a Team Leader to take our development team to the next level.

We're looking for someone who is not just an excellent engineer but also a natural leader - someone who can build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team while staying hands-on with complex technical challenges.

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers, ensuring high technical standards and smooth collaboration.
  
   
• Take ownership of our platform, architecture, and critical projects.
  
   
• Balance hands-on coding with team leadership, code reviews, and strategic planning.
  
   
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver scalable, business-critical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience as a Back-End, Full-Stack, or Web Software Engineer.
  
   
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of at least 5–7 developers.
  
   
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills – you know how to turn good developers into great ones.
  
   
• Strong knowledge of PHP, Symfony, MySQL (or equivalent back-end stacks).
  
   
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and drive their adoption within the team.
  
   
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• EU citizenship is a must.

Bonus Points For

• Experience as a Lead or Senior Developer in a high-traffic web environment.
  
   

Proficiency with Front-End tech (HTML, CSS, JS) and frameworks like React or Vue.
