Senior Go Backend Engineer

As a Senior Go Backend Engineer, you will work in a high‑velocity, remote‑first environment where autonomy, ownership, and technical leadership are essential. You will design and build backend services that power our core platform, collaborate directly with senior technical leaders, and help shape architectural decisions that influence the entire product.

You will join a team of experienced engineers and contribute directly to building a cloud‑native backend used by enterprise customers.

What You’ll Do

- Implement scalable, reliable backend services using Go
- Design and evolve cloud‑native systems and APIs that power enterprise‑scale cost optimization
- Integrate deeply with cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support platform capabilities
- Participate in GitHub‑driven workflows: pull requests, thorough code reviews, and CI/CD practices
- Drive high standards for quality, performance, and observability across backend systems

What We’re Looking For

✔ Senior Go developer with 5+ years of commercial backend experience
✔ Solid hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, database schema design, and performance optimization
✔ Proven ability to contribute effectively as an independent engineer in a remote‑first team
✔ Clear and proactive communicator who enjoys collaborative problem‑solving

 

Nice to Have

- Experience with infrastructure automation, observability tooling, or cost‑related platforms
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud systems
