Python Developer (Junior / Strong Junior) with DevOps Focus

(Bare Metal & Cloud Infrastructure)

We are looking for a Python Developer (Strong Junior / Middle) with an interest in DevOps and infrastructure to join an international product company from Sweden.
The project focuses on map development and geoinformation services. Communication is fully in English.

Responsibilities:

Backend and REST API development using Python

Working with CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy)

Containerizing applications with Docker

Supporting cloud (AWS/GCP) and bare metal infrastructure

Collaboration with an international team

Requirements:

Python backend basics and understanding of REST APIs

Linux fundamentals (users, permissions, systemd, logs)

Understanding of CI/CD concepts

Docker (Dockerfile, docker-compose, containerization concepts)

Basic Git knowledge

Advanced English

Computer Science degree (or 2nd–3rd year student)

Strong motivation to grow in DevOps

Nice to have:

AWS or GCP experience (EC2 / Compute Engine, IAM, networking basics)

CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

Basic networking knowledge (ports, DNS, firewalls)

Basic understanding of Kubernetes

Bash / shell scripting

Experience with VPS, on-prem, or bare metal servers
