Python Developer (Junior/Strong Junior) with a focus on DevOps

(Bare Metal & Cloud Infrastructure)

We are looking for a Python Developer (strong junior/mid-level) with an interest in DevOps and infrastructure to work for an international product company based in Sweden.
The project focuses on map development and geoinformation services. Communication is entirely in English.

Responsibilities:

Backend and REST API development using Python
Working with algorithms
Working with CI/CD pipelines (building, testing, deployment)
Containerization of applications using Docker
Support for cloud (AWS/GCP) and base infrastructure
Collaboration with an international team

Requirements:
Basic knowledge of Python backend and understanding of REST API
Linux basics (users, permissions, systemd, logs)
Understanding of CI/CD concepts
Docker (Dockerfile, docker-compose, containerization concepts)
Basic knowledge of Git
High level of English
Degree in computer science (or 2nd-3rd year student)
Strong motivation to develop in DevOps

Preferred:
Experience with AWS or GCP (EC2 / Compute Engine, IAM, basics of network technologies)
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Knowledge of algorithms
Basic knowledge of networks (ports, DNS, firewalls)
Basic understanding of Kubernetes
Bash/shell scripts
Experience with VPS, local or base servers
