Full-Stack Developer - Shopify Integration MVP

Remote | Fixed Contract OR Equity 

Looking for solo developer to build specialised attribution platform (most similar are general platforms like Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros). Developer will build the entire MVP and own the technical foundation as we scale.

Tech Stack:

• Edge/Redirects: Cloudflare Workers (KV + Async Logging) - template based, just customize
• Backend API: Node.js/Express on Vercel serverless (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Database: PostgreSQL on Railway (JSONB heavily used for attribution history).
• Shopify Integration: Node.js App + Theme App Extensions (App Embeds). Note: not Script Tags.
• Dashboard: React on Vercel (simple dashboard table, filters, sorting) 

You'll Build:

• Click tracking redirect service (50ms latency) with bot filtering
• A Shopify App Embed Block that creates server-side cart attributes (bypassing Safari ITP and Ad Blockers).
• Attribution matching engine (clicks → orders → commission/revenue)

• Dashboard (tables to view ROI, CSV export, email reports)

   

Required:

✅ Shipped 1+ Shopify app. You understand OAuth, Webhooks, and crucially, Theme App Extensions (Checkout Extensibility)

✅ PostgreSQL + async/webhook processing
✅ Node.js + React production experience

Bonus Points

• Experience with AdTech, Attribution models, or Affiliate systems.
• Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA consent flows (Shopify Customer Privacy API).
• Experience with Cloudflare Workers
