Python Developer - Marketplace Scraper to $4150

We're looking for a skilled developer to help scale and maintain our Facebook Marketplace scraper that collects vehicle listings throughout the U.S. market.
 

Project Responsibilities:

• Debug and optimize existing Python scraper to run every 15 minutes without issues (currently running 2x daily)
• Source/warm Facebook accounts or figure out best way to buy aged accounts (trial and error phase)
• Add roughly 50 unique searches to scraper (currently at 15)
• Scale proxy setup and ensure we're capturing 90%+ of listings we're searching for
• Keep the system running smoothly and deploy clean code
   

Required Skills:

• Solid web scraping experience (Python/Selenium)
• FB or social media scraping experience is a huge plus (if you don't have this, please explain where you've scraped before and what challenges you've faced)
• Good English communication skills
• Availability to work asynchronously
   

Job Terms:

• Starts as 1-2 month project at ~40 hrs/week getting everything dialed in
• After that, can evolve into either a full-time role (building new features) or part-time 2-10 hrs/week (maintenance mode)
• Down the line we'll be adding: pricing tools, web dashboard, mobile app, dealer insights, user logins and changing scraper aggressiveness on other websites we scrape. This are job which you could be a part of
