React Native Developer

Position Overview:

This role focuses on building core mobile creation features for a free self-publishing and digital marketplace platform. Your initial priorities will include implementing content creation flows for articles, podcasts, video series, and a short-form video feed, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a React Native mobile application using React Native CLI

• Build content creation flows for articles, podcasts, video series, and short-form video

• Implement navigation and state management using React Navigation and MobX

• Integrate APIs and manage data flow using axios

• Implement in-app purchases using StoreKit (native Swift integration)

• Work with local storage and performance-critical data using react-native-mmkv

• Implement audio playback features using react-native-track-player

• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to shape creator-focused workflows

• Ensure high performance, stability, and scalability across iOS devices

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with React Native (CLI)

• Solid knowledge of React Navigation and mobile UX patterns

• Experience with MobX or similar state management solutions

• Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs using axios

• Experience with in-app purchases (StoreKit on iOS)

• Familiarity with react-native-mmkv for local storage

• Experience implementing media playback (audio/video)

• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of features
