Senior DevOps/AWS Engineer

Looking for Senior DevOps/AWS Engineer, who will play a key role in shaping and scaling a multi-region cloud infrastructure in a fast-growing cybersecurity environment. This is a high-ownership position where you will directly influence infrastructure strategy, reliability standards, and automation practices. You will design and operate globally distributed, highly available systems, strengthen observability, and continuously improve how infrastructure is delivered at scale. Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, from design to production scale.
• Design, build, and operate cloud-native environments across multiple regions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, architects, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery across microservices.
• Build and maintain secure, observable infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools (ArgoCD).
• Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI (or similar tools).
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies.
• Drive infrastructure improvements through POCs, experimentation, and tool evaluation.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortem processes.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices.

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong ability to work in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Deep expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Production-grade experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience scripting in Bash and Python.
• Solid CI/CD experience (GitLab CI, TeamCity, or similar).
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Deep understanding of Docker and container security best practices.
• Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead infrastructure discussions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terragrunt and Ansible.
• Familiarity with secrets management (Vault, AWS KMS, or similar).
• Understanding of service discovery, zero-downtime deployments, and SOC2-compliant environments.
• Experience working in security-focused or regulated environments.
